Current Hardware Projects

GitOps HomeLab Platform

Building a Kubernetes-based home lab with GitOps (Argo CD/Flux) to manage cluster state, app deployments, and policy-as-code (OPA/Gatekeeper). All infra declared via Terraform and Ansible, with CI/CD pipelines validating plans, policies, and security scans before deploy.

Reliability & Chaos Engineering

Implementing SLOs/SLIs and error budgets with synthetic checks and real-user metrics. Running controlled fault injection (network latency, pod/node failure) using LitmusChaos/Chaos Mesh to validate resilience, autoscaling, and graceful degradation paths.

Policy-Driven Network Automation

Designing cloud/hybrid network topologies with IaC (Terraform) and policy-as-code (OPA/Conftest) for NSGs, firewalls, and routing. Automated compliance checks in CI, geo-blocking updates, and drift detection with pull-request enforced changes.

Observability Stack & Cost Ops

Standing up Prometheus/Grafana/Loki/Tempo with OpenTelemetry for metrics, logs, and traces mapped to services and SLOs. Integrating alert routing and runbooks to reduce MTTR, plus export + dashboards for Azure/AWS cost, rightsizing, and efficiency KPIs.
